Any person or organization interested in promoting and advocating for the BCP mission, principles and objectives shall be eligible for membership.
The BCP shall ensure that its General Membership
represents all relevant stakeholders from society.
BCP members
shall come from local and national farmer and fisherfolk organizations;
academic and
scientific communities; national research councils
and institutions; consumer, environment and other
civic-oriented
groups and individuals; the church; media; business corporations;
and different
industry associations.
Any individual person can join the Coalition
by his own individual capacity, regardless of his employment
in other institutions (whether private or government) or affiliations
with other organizations.
Any institution with an interest in the advancement of biotechnology can join the Coalition. It must be a registered and legally established agency, corporation, or organization. There are two general types of institutional members:

be mailed or faxed to BCP:
