A paper presented in the 2002 Annual Scientific
Meeting of the National Academy of Science and Technology Philippines
listed the locally developed biotechnologies in the following
table. The paper entitled Making Philippine Biotechnology Competitive
was written by Institute of Plant Breeding (UP Los Baños)
Research Professor and Academician Dr. Evelyn Mae T. Mendoza
and Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research
and Development Executive Director Dr. Ida F. Dalmacio.
